3-CAP: your customized 3 STEP Concierge Appointment Process

Step 1: Confidential Video-Visit

  • Enjoy the safety and comfort of your own home or environment
  • Social distance together with the clinic staff
  • Review your clinical history and care plan
  • Minimizes inconvenient waiting
  • May replace or prepare you for an in-person visit
  • May be complimentary

Step 2: In-Person-Visit

  • Physical Exam, Testing, or Procedures may still be required
  • Exam or treatment focused
  • Enhanced cleaning, air filtration, and protocols in place
  • Medical Staff wear special protective gear and you wear a mask
  • Extended discussions may require a telehealth follow up (3-CAP Step 3 visit)

Step 3: Follow-Up-Telephone or Video-Visit

  • minimizes your travel
  • Enjoy the safety and comfort of your own home or environment
  • Social distance together with clinic staff
  • Shortens your in-office time
  • More time to speak with doctor
  • More convenient use of your time
  • Ideal for more complicated problems or longer discussions
  • May be complimentary



Why Video-Visits? The doctor can’t see my ear or nose?  

  • Special video cameras are available if you are interested and if appropriate
  • BUT, if you and the doctor feel an in-person visit is needed, we will arrange this for you during the first step of your 3-CAP


What if I cannot do an internet visit?

  • Telephone check-in appointments may be another option for you under certain conditions, approved by the doctor


Why not just discuss everything in the office?

  • Special protective gear is worn by the doctor and staff
  • We require everyone to wear a mask in the office
  • As a result. extended discussions are often more practical and safer over video
  • Your overall time spent in-office is minimized for your safety
  • Your travel time and commutes may be reduced


Will I be billed for each step?

  • We don’t usually bill for all 3 steps of your concierge care
  • Service is based on time spent with the doctor, level of care, & medical necessity


Are these precautions necessary for COVID-19?

  • We follow CDC and ND Smart Restart Guidelines in this new normal
